Oh Dear, Another Year!

Good Monday morning!  Today I am sharing a birthday card made for a co-worker of 23 years.  I can just hear her saying, "Oh dear, another year!"  So, I think she will like this card.  Here are the details:

Size:  A2 (I scored it and folded it a little different to make it be a gatefold card.)
Card stock:  Recollections for the kraft paper and DCWV for the aqua, which was then embossed with my Cuttlebug
Patterned paper:  DCWV
Border at edge of fold:  EK Success scalloped border punch (Does anyone else have a problem with this punch in that it is supposed to have embossing, but it randomly shows up?)
Scalloped border separating top and bottom of card:  Martha Stewart diamond lace border punch
Fancy corner:  Cuttlebug die
Frame:  Bloom Lite Cricut cartridge cut at 3" (I'm wondering if anyone else has this cartridge and has noticed that the flower that is supposed to cut at the top doesn't cut.  If you press the layer key, you get a circle, or the frame -- no flower.)
Sentiment:  Computer generated and punched with a 2" circle punch and put behind the frame.
Butterfly:  Martha Stewart punch
Roses:  The white mini roses are from I Am Roses.  The blue rose was made using the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge cut at 3".  I used a Martha Stewart (Wal-mart - green) punch for the leaves.
Ribbon:  From my stash
Pearls:  I bought these from Katy Cards (a UK company that seems to have gone out of business --- I can't get their website to come up any longer.  :o()

I think that's about it!  I hope you like the card.  Be inspired!

I am submitting this card for the current challenge (#33) at Birthday Sundaes and the current challenge  (#32) over at Card Makin Mamas.

This is the card sitting in a holder so you can see the front as it looks when it is closed.

This shows the front of the card open a little so you can see the fold of the card.

You did a beautiful job on this card! I like how the embossing matches the print cardstock. I'm going to be checking in on you from time to time. I'm enjoying your projects!
