Ann's Card

Today is the birthday of one of my best friends. She has been just like a sister, and closer than a sister in so many ways for the past 19 years. I know I can ask her to do ANYTHING for me, and she will do whatever it takes to do that. I love her dearly, and I don't know what I would do without her. She is 46 today. Wow, she's getting old like me! LOL. She loves earthtone colors, so I chose these papers from one of the Costco My Mind's Eye stacks to make her card. I have been totally uninspired lately, and this one was tough to do too. It seems so plain. Hopefully the next one will be better!
P.S. She actually found this card on my blog before I got to give it to her. I never dreamed that she would look at my blog today. She was going to show my work to someone else and saw the card by accident. Or that's her story anyway. I should put on here that she is 56! LOL.

A Princess on Her Throne

I took these pictures of my granddaughter sitting in her little chair watching TV, and I thought she was so cute! I really love the one where she has the chair flipped over on its back. Isn't she adorable! Of course I think so. Double click on the picture to see it better.

Rockin' Girl Blogger??? I'VE BEEN TAGGED!

I have a friend named Teri (we call her TeriBeri on the Cricut MB) that has tagged me for the rockin' girl blogger! Now I need to come up with 5 people to send this onto -- hmmmm . . . I'm thinking! I'm thinking!!! I'll be back!

My Goofy Gang at Easter

On Easter Sunday, it seemed that everyone in my family was acting goofy. The pictures in this layout show my son-in-law and my daughter's boyfriend acting silly, and me wearing bunny ears. Thus, the title of this layout became My Goofy Gang at Easter. I had a tough time doing this layout because nothing seemed to work. I was glad to finish it finally! Not one of my favorites, but it's okay.

You Are The Bomb

This is a card I made for our office manager, who has been working with us for a year now. She is a really nice lady, and she really motivates us to do better and more. I've told her how much I appreciate her, and I wanted to do this card to let her know as well. It's pretty simple, but I made it at 11:00 last night, so not too fancy.

This Way to Paradise

I'm home today for the July 4th holiday, and I've been working on this layout all day, and last night, and the night before. Where does the time go? It sure doesn't look like it should take that long to finish a layout like this! I did this one from my daughter's trip to Florida back in May. It really does look like paradise!

Thanks for looking.
