Gift Card Holder and Handmade Card Set

Here's a little project I've been working on this weekend to sell on eBay! It would be perfect for a birthday gift or a mother's day gift, if you wanted to give someone a gift card.

Bandaid Get Well Card

I made this card for a friend's husband who is having surgery. I can't help but think of boo boos when I see a bandaid because Ashlyn is always talking about her boo boos. So, this was the sentiment I came up with for his card. I'll have to explain it to him I'm sure!

The inside says "Heals Quickly. You're in our thoughts and prayers."

Feel Better Soon!

A card made for a co-worker with shingles. My heart goes out to her!

Yappy Birthday

I made this very simple, and very bright card for my boss' birthday. I've had these papers from the Nana's Kids stack (I think that's it) for such a long time and decided to use them. The caption bubble is a punch that my friend in CA sent to me. Thanks Jane!

I Told You So!

I found time today to do a little scrapbooking -- yippee!

These pictures show my Mom opening the bracelet we bought for her for Christmas. She thought she was getting steaks, even though we had told her they were for our Dad. Daddy enjoyed saying, "I told you so."

A Relisted Auction for eBay and A New Design Team

I have some news -- I'm happy to announce that I have joined the eBay design team of Pocket Full of Papers. I've watched the talent of these designers for quite some time, and I'm proud to have been asked to join them.

I relisted my Sleep Tight layout. Here is a link to the auction.

Christmas Cuties

I love these photos of my youngest daughter and my granddaughter. Photos were taken at Christmas 2007. I used my new EKSuccess postage stamp border punch around the red paper. I also used scalloped square punches for the backgrounds for the title.

Happy Birthday Lynn

I made this birthday card for my sweet, long distance friend, Lynn. Since I know that she received it, I can now post it. She and I met on the Cricut message board at least two years ago, and we've been emailing each other almost daily since. I treasure her friendship. Happy Birthday again Lynn!

Thank You Cards

These are a couple of thank you cards I made today for my wonderful church family that helped with the wedding. I made two more, but didn't take pictures of them.

Anniversary Card for my Parents

My parents will be celebrating their 53rd anniversary on Tuesday. This is the card I made for them, using their monogram. Hope you like it. The "B" and background are from the Cricut Storbyook cartridge.

You Are So Sweet!

I made this thank you card for some of my wonderful friends, who were so kind to me during my daughter's wedding. They made all of the veggies (potatoes, green beans, and baked apples) for the wedding -- enough to feed 270 people! They are such blessings to me!

Goin' to the Chapel . . .

Yep, we went to the chapel, and my youngest daughter is now married. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, if I say so myself. These are pictures I took at her bridal portrait session in February. The ones the photographer took of course show her looking at the camera.

Of course we only have a few pictures from the wedding because the photographer's photos won't be available for a few weeks. My oldest daughter's mother-in-law took a few and emailed these to me.

These are my two beautiful daughters, along with their husbands. I've told my first son-in-law, Joey (on the right) that he now has competition, so maybe now both of them will try to get brownie points with me! Ha!

My beautiful daughters. I couldn't love them more!

This is my sweet, sweet sister with my granddaughter, Ashlyn (who of course was the flower girl) at the wedding.

My little punkin -- she was so adorable!

Two Cards I Made Today

The first card I made today is one for my aunt who was diagnosed this week with stage 3 throat cancer. I talked to her on the phone yesterday for about an hour, and she told me she wasn't going to cry, that she was going to laugh. I wanted her to know that I'm here for her and praying for her, but I didn't want to make a sappy card, so this is what I came up with. I found the picture on the internet.

If you're a praying person, please say a prayer for her. She's got a tough road ahead. Her name is Vicki.

This card is for a much happier occasion. My husband's nephew and his wife are welcoming a new baby girl in April. Her name is Kamryn Paige.
