I stayed home all day yesterday and found a few hours to spend in my scrapbook room. Yippee! I used this week's sketch over at stuckonusketches for this layout. As always, it was fun to have a sketch to use, and makes it so much easier. Check out the sketch
here.
And here is my interpretation! These photos were taken on our trip to Daytona Beach, Florida in 2008. I think I have 2 or 3 more layouts from that trip, and then I can move on to the next event, which may be another beach trip, but this one to Myrtle Beach.
These papers are so pretty! They were given to me for my birthday from my friend Lynn. Thank you Lynn! They are K & Co. Papers, which is one of my favorite companies. The glittery flourishes are Making Memories chipboard pieces. The wavy lines were cut with my Creative Memories cutter. The flip flops are from the Life is a Beach Cricut cartridge; the word "just" was cut using the Cuttlebug typewriter font (I think that's the name); the word "chillin'" was cut using the Paisley Cricut cartridge; and the tag behind the title was cut using the Storybook Cricut cartridge.
