Thank You Card for Bill

I made this simple card for a wonderful man who allowed us to take my daughter's bridal portraits at his beautiful home. The house is at least 6000 SF, and he lives there alone. My soon-to-be son-in-law and his father built this house, and we knew it would be a great setting for the portraits, and it was. Anyway, this man loves horses (he has 31), so what better way to say "thank you" than put a horse on his card. I hope he likes it.

Sleep Tight, Little One

Believe it or not, I found a little time this weekend to create something for eBay. I did this and also helped my daughter make almost 300 menus for her upcoming wedding. Oh, the fun is just getting started (the wedding is March 21st).

I am pleased with how this layout turned out. Hopefully, there's someone out in eBay land that wants to buy it!

So Many Gifts -- So Little Time

I had lots of photos of Ashlyn opening gifts at Christmas (2007). I knew I needed to do a 2 page layout, but instead cut the empty space from the photos and did a one pager. I used SCAL to cut So Many and Gifts. I used a Cuttlebug alphabet -- Baby Face for "so little time." It was the only thing small enough to fit, and it's come in handy lots for that reason.

Hope you like it!

Bird Sympathy Card

I made this card for my husband's niece, whose maternal grandfather passed away last week. I'm in love with the Indie Art Cricut cartridge. The bird was cut using that cartridge.

Valentine's Day Cards

I made this Valentine's Day Card for my youngest daughter and her soon-to-be husband. The inside said something like, "May your love last a lifetime."

This is the card I made for Ashlyn this year. I knew the Hello Kitty cartridge would be perfect for her card.

I made this card for my daughter and sweet son-in-law. The inside says, "You're a Match Made in Heaven."

Kiss Me Baby Valentine

I made this card for my hubby. He would rather have a funny valentine than a sweet one. So, I knew the lips would be perfect. And the text bubble is a punch given to me by a dear friend for my birthday. It was perfect for this card!

Happy Birthday Loretta!

A birthday card made for my sweet mother-in-law. Her favorite color is red, and after seeing the many cards done over at Bitten by the Bug with the rose from the Indie Art cartridge, I knew I would use it for her card.

You Did It!

I made this graduation card for a young lady who attends our church. She graduated in December, and I just now got around to making this card for her. I went online to find the school's colors and found their logo and thought it would be neat to use it on her card.

ROCK ON -- Joey's Birthday Card

My wonderful son-in-law turned 29 this week. This is the card I made for him. He loves to play guitar (mostly in church), so I couldn't wait to use this guitar for his card! Hope you like it!

Season of Love

I wanted to do a Valentine layout for eBay, and for some reason the white tree popped into my mind. So, I was then on a mission to find a title to go with the tree. I think Season of Love fits this pretty well! I love the bright colors on this layout. Now I just hope it sells!

TFL (and wish me luck).

P.S. Someone asked where the birds came from -- they can be found on the Happily Ever After cartridge.

Santa Stopped Here

This layout is from Christmas Day 2007. It's amazing how much Ashlyn has changed since then!

Hope you like it!

In Loving Memory

Since I recently felt the pain of losing a loved one, my grandma who passed away in November, I decided to do these pages in her honor. Hope you like them.

Mom's Reminder Calendar

I made this calendar with chipboard covers for my Mom for Christmas. She can never remember when our birthdays are, so now she has a calendar with everyone's birthdays on it, our anniversaries, a place to write appointments, a Bible verse, and on the flip side, a picture each month of my sweet granddaughter (her only great grandchild). Here is a picture of the cover, one of the photos, and one month (we have no birthdays or anniversaries in December), just to give you an idea of what the calendar looked like. I was really in a hurry to get it finished, so it was pretty plain.

Building a Dream

My soon-to-be son-in-law is a general contractor. He built a new home this year. It was obvious from the beginning that although he had not popped the question, he was planning to ask our daughter to marry him. She helped him pick out carpet, paint, countertops, and pretty much everything else. Within 2 weeks after he closed on the house and moved in, he gave her an engagement ring. We knew it was coming! I did this layout to showcase the pictures of his house in progress.

Baking Memories

These pictures were taken last year of my daughters and granddaughter making sugar cookies. They love making them, although we rarely ever eat them. By the time they handle the dough for 10 minutes, the cookies usually end up being hard. But the fun is still there, so we still make them.
