That Face

I took these pictures of Ashlyn when we were camping at the lake back in the summer. She was being so sweet that day and actually smiled for the camera! That face just makes me melt.

Side by Side Layouts

A fellow message board member asked me to take a picture of two non-matching layouts side by side because she is thinking about trying to do one page layouts. Here are two in Ashlyn's book. I think they look pretty good -- of course I coordinated the papers on these two, so they are very similar. :o)

I did these pages on Saturday for Ashlyn's book. These pictures were taken on July 4th. She amazed me how much she was one of the kids that day -- not a baby anymore!

So Corny

I just love these photos of Rick and Ashlyn together, especially the one on the bottom left. He adores her, and she thinks he is the best thing since peanut butter! She's that way about her other grandpa as well -- probably because they are so crazy about her!

Happy Day Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend's birthday that is coming up soon. I borrowed the Making the Grade Cricut cartridge from my friend Ann, and I decided that I really do like this phrase for cards! So cute! I cut it out and then embossed it with the Cuttlebug.

Having a Ball

I had 9 people over on Saturday to scrapbook, and this is all I finished! And I had it at least halfway completed before they came. I have a lot of fun helping others, and that's pretty much what I did all day. It was a great day.

Slide into Summer

I just love this layout of Ashlyn and Rick playing on the neighbor's slide. I am pleased with how this turned out, even if my sewing isn't the best in the world! I just love the slide and the little girl from the Cricut My Community cartridge!

Little Drummer Girl

Ashlyn loves to walk around saying, "march, march, march" and beating on a drum (a/k/a a bowl with a spoon). I just had to scrapbook these pictures, and since I'm trying to do one page layouts, this one at least matches the Princess of the Pool page!

Princess of the Pool

I'm trying to start a new trend for my books -- one page layouts. I don't know if I can do it though! Sometimes I don't really have enough pictures to do a two page layout, and they are much harder to design I think. So, this may be the first of many, and it may be the first of two (I'm already working on the page to go across from this one.) LOL.

These pictures are of Ashlyn playing with Mom and Dad at the indoor pool when we went to the beach back in May. The font is Alphalicious. The white dots are Rain Dots by Cloud 9 Design.
