Young At Heart

Today is my Dad's birthday.  He is definitely young at heart.  You may remember that he had gallbladder surgery last week, and while talking to him today, he said, "Oh, I'm doing good.  I'm just fine."  That's my Daddy!  When we got ready to hang up, his words to me were, "I love you sweetheart."  Those words make my heart melt.  I'm still Daddy's little girl for sure.

This is the birthday card I made for him.  I hope he gets the humor and sees it as an honor that I think of him as young at heart.   I cut the boy on the horse from the A Child's Year Cricut cartridge.  The oval was cut using the George cartridge. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch.  The blue strip of paper was embossed using my Cuttlebug.  The sentiment was computer generated and cut using a Spellbinders die.  The inside said, "That's what you are!"  We hope your birthday is blessed."

TFL!  And thanks for your wonderful comments.  As those of you who blog know, they mean the world to us!
