Happy Birthday for a Long Distance Friend

Good Wednesday morning.  I am actually sitting in the hospital waiting room right now while my husband is having surgery on his ankle to repair the broken bone.  We arrived at 6, and when I saw him at 7:30, he had a gorgeous surgery cap on his head and a sock on his other foot with a smiley face on the bottom.  Too funny!  Hopefully, he will be out soon and on the road to recovery.  I am praying he will be just fine.

I am sharing with you today a card I made for a cyber friend that lives on the other end of the country. We have been emailing each other for at least 3 years, maybe 4.  We met on the Cricut messageboard.  I hope that we can meet someday in person.  Here are the details of the card.

Size:  4 1/2 x 6 3/4
Card stock:  Recollections and American Crafts
Embossing:  Cuttlebug folder
Frame:  Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge
Sentiment is computer generated
Flowers:  Handmade with several punches and flowers from my stash on top.
I used a Martha Stewart double edge border punch in the middle and two EK Success border punches (across the middle and at the bottom of the card).

Hope you like it, and thanks for your comments.
