Another Sympathy Card

Happy Tuesday.  It's been a super busy week for me.  We had our grandchildren all last week while our daughter and son-in-law were at camp with the youth from their church.  While they were here, our refrigerator kicked the bucket.  We purchased a new one on Saturday, and it was delivered on Sunday.  As of Monday morning, the freezer was still 76 degrees.  So, a new refrigerator will be delivered today.  Needless to say, my kitchen is a mess!  We have filled the refrigerator in the camper to the brim, and our freezer downstairs has been wonderful!  But, I still have "stuff" all over my counters that didn't absolutely have to be refrigerated.  And to top it off, we have VBS this week at church, and I was there until 9:15 last night helping make tie-dyed t-shirts for the kids.  Fun, but tiring!

This is a sympathy card I made for a friend who lost his 93 year old mother a few weeks ago.  She was a very special lady, and he adored her.  Here are the details:

Size:  A2
Patterned Papers:  Recollections
Card Stock:  Recollections; American Crafts
Mother and Baby Image:  Cricut A Child's Year cartridge cut at 3 1/2"
Label behind Image:  Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge cut at 4" and then embossed
Sentiment:  Computer generated and then punched with a 1 1/4" circle punch.  I then added a scalloped circle punched image (1 1/2") behind the sentiment and layered those on a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis die
Flowers:  Recollections and Prima from my stash
Stem:  Martha Stewart punch
Pearls:  Queen & Co.
I also used an EK Success border punch along the bottom to give it an interesting edge.

I hope you are inspired!
