've been thinking about this card for weeks! As you can see, it's a step fold card. Yesterday was my wonderful neighbor's 50th birthday. Since she scrapbooks, I knew she would appreciate this card. She loves the beach, so I knew I wanted to do a beach themed card for such a special birthday. So, I pulled out my Life is a Beach Cricut cartridge to find what would work. I cut the chair, umbrella, wave border, "50" and "Paradise" (I cut off the little branch under the word) from that cartridge. Then I grabbed Doodlecharms and cut the palm trees from that cartridge. Life is a Beach has palm trees, but I love cuts with shadows, so I went with the one on Doodlecharms. The starfish and seashell (that I don't think you can see) are cut from the Create-a-Critter cartridge. The sun is the blackout/shadow sun on the Going Places cartridge. I added a ribbon, a punched computer generated sentiment, a couple of border punches, and ta da -- a beach card!
Hope you like it. She seemed to love it. Click on the pictures for a better look.
