When the Chips are Down. . .

I recently learned that one of my daughter's friends from high school failed her nursing examination. This girl used to practically live at our house, and I've always thought so much of her. According to her Mom, she is just devastated, so I wanted to send her a card to hopefully lift her spirits. So, I came up with this card. The outside says, "When the Chips are down . . . " and on the inside, it says, "Don't give up on your dreams -- reach for the stars!" I put some chipboard stars on the inside. And I also found this quote that I thought was good, "The second star to the right shines in the night for you to tell you that the dreams you have really can come true." Peter Pan

I hope it helps her to know that others care, that I will be praying for her, and things will work out!
