This is the third (and last) layout for my daughter's graduation. She graduated with a degree in dental hygiene and painted an adorable tooth on her cap, so I included a picture of it on the layout. You could find her in the crowd for sure!

Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Card

This is a quick card I made for my cousin and his new wife. Well, I guess she isn't so new. They got married in July! I'm so bad! I purchased a gift card for them in August, and I just got around to making a card to send to them. And I did this one quickly. Between work, grandbabies, and life in general, I don't get as much time to make things as I'd like. I'm not complaining though -- work pays the bills, the grandbabies are precious, and life in general is great! I enjoy the few hours I can manage to get in my scrapbook room.

Forever Young Birthday Card

This is a birthday card that I made over the weekend for a sweet co-worker. I think the sentiment really describes her. She has lots of nieces and nephews, and loves them all so much. I think they help keep her young! And of course having such a "young" friend like me doesn't hurt! LOL.

Hey Neighbor Birthday Card

This was the card I made for my neighbor's birthday, the 15 year old that helped me with my blog header. He is always so sweet to help take care of our beagle, Lexi, when we go out of town, so I thought he'd like a card from her. Of course, he loves computers too, so I incorporated the two into his card. The inside said, "Wanna share some cake?"

My New Header

Isn't my new header great??? My 15 year old neighbor (yep, you heard it, 15) made it for me! And he just turned 15 on Monday. Kids these days are so computer savvy!

Worth It All!

I did this layout several weeks ago, but just realized that I didn't post it here. It precedes my layout entitled "A Cause for Celebration." This is the awards ceremony from Whitney's dental hygiene program. The girls had all taken their State Boards but had not gotten their grades yet. The teachers unrolled a banner that read, "You All Passed Boards." There was hardly a dry eye in the room, including mine. Whitney was so relieved because the whole program had been so hard, and the test was too! I was one proud Mom!

A Cause for Celebration

These pictures were taken after Whitney's awards ceremony for the dental hygiene program. We took a few pictures and then headed to Tripps for a yummy dinner!

Set of Gift Card Holders

I finally got around to making a little something for the Pocket Full of Papers handmade gift challenge. I made these cute little gift card holders earlier in the week, but didn't get them listed until tonight because our weather has been so yucky, and I couldn't get good pictures.

It Takes A Long Time to Grow An Old Friend Card

This started out as a get well card for one of my best friends, who had a freak accident a few weeks ago. She took her dog to the vet for shots. She was holding the dog and told the vet tech that she would bite her. The vet tech asked her to hold the dog and then reached for the dog from behind. The dog turned around and bit my friend on the hand (trying to get to the vet tech of course). My friend called me on her way home, and we actually laughed about her dog biting her. Four hours later, she called to say that she was in the ER -- that her hand was hurting so bad that she decided to get it checked out. She ended up in the hospital for 4 days and had two surgeries on her hand. Thank goodness she is going to be okay! She is one of the best friends that anyone could ever have, and I've had her for 21 years! When I saw this sentiment, the card evolved into a "I'm so thankful for you" card.

I decided that since my layout didn't sell on eBay in an 8 x 10 frame, maybe it will sell as a 12 x 12 layout. I really do like this layout. The pink/black are so much prettier in real life!

I made this card for a co-worker who is turning 50 today. I decided not to give her too much grief over turning the big 5-0!

The 50 and the labels behind the 50 were cut from the Winter Woodlands Cricut cartridge.

I made this sympathy card for my former co-worker whose nephew passed away a couple of weeks ago. I know she is going through some tough days because she loved this little boy like a brother. She spent so much time with him, and was there until the end.
