Happy Day Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend's birthday that is coming up soon. I borrowed the Making the Grade Cricut cartridge from my friend Ann, and I decided that I really do like this phrase for cards! So cute! I cut it out and then embossed it with the Cuttlebug.

Having a Ball

I had 9 people over on Saturday to scrapbook, and this is all I finished! And I had it at least halfway completed before they came. I have a lot of fun helping others, and that's pretty much what I did all day. It was a great day.

Slide into Summer

I just love this layout of Ashlyn and Rick playing on the neighbor's slide. I am pleased with how this turned out, even if my sewing isn't the best in the world! I just love the slide and the little girl from the Cricut My Community cartridge!

Little Drummer Girl

Ashlyn loves to walk around saying, "march, march, march" and beating on a drum (a/k/a a bowl with a spoon). I just had to scrapbook these pictures, and since I'm trying to do one page layouts, this one at least matches the Princess of the Pool page!

Princess of the Pool

I'm trying to start a new trend for my books -- one page layouts. I don't know if I can do it though! Sometimes I don't really have enough pictures to do a two page layout, and they are much harder to design I think. So, this may be the first of many, and it may be the first of two (I'm already working on the page to go across from this one.) LOL.

These pictures are of Ashlyn playing with Mom and Dad at the indoor pool when we went to the beach back in May. The font is Alphalicious. The white dots are Rain Dots by Cloud 9 Design.

Peek-a-Boo

These pictures of Ashlyn playing peek-a-boo (or pees-a-boo as she calls it) were just too adorable not to put in her scrapbook! And this layout was very different for me. The babies would normally be a little cutesy for me, but they work so well on this layout! I've smudged Ashlyn's picture in order to keep from being arrested for posting porn on the internet! LOL.

Thinking of You

I made this card for a coworker whose mother is being placed in a nursing home on Friday morning. She has Alzheimer's, and he is very upset. I hope he knows that I care and that I will be praying for him and his family during these tough times.

Pool Off

I did it! I broke down and got the Cricut Expression. I love this machine. This is my first layout created with it. So far, I'm very pleased. These pictures are from the beach earlier this year. The outdoor pool was closed so my crew went to the indoor pool for some fun.
