I didn't get a chance to try last week's sketch, so I decided to make time today to try another fun sketch over at the Stuck On U Sketches blog. Click
here to go there. One thing we were supposed to do is use some kind of bling on the page. You can't really see it, but the stars are glittery, and the white round glitter dots are just that -- glittery!
I had this picture of my son-in-law from our trip to Daytona Beach, Florida in 2008. I knew the picture would be perfect for the sketch. I found the picture of Forrest Gump on the internet and thought it complimented the layout and the picture of my son-in-law.

May I ask a question..did you use decorative scissors for the paper edge around the outside? I love that look!
I think is such a fun page and just love the colors and papers..great use of the online image! neat touch!
Wonderful photo...Forrest Gump is my son's fave movie...we went to Bubba Gump in New Orleans and he was so excited...even stumped the waiter with movie trivia...still need to scrap the pics...you did a fab job with yours...thanx for joining us!
