Several months ago I made a retirement card (see it here) for a sweet lady. I found out just before Christmas that she had been diagnosed with cancer. So, I made this card for her and sent it out this week, hoping to encourage her a little, and let her know that I'm thinking about her and praying for her.
Here are the details on the card:
Size: A2
Patterned Papers: DCWV
Cardstock: Recollection and DCWV
Scalloped Circle and Scalloped Square: Nestabilities
Embossing: Cuttlebug
Bird: Three Birds on Parade Cricut Cartridge
Border Punch: EKSuccess
Hope you like it, and thanks for your comments.
Beautiful card!! I may have to scraplift this one for a sweet friend of mine who lost her husband yesterday to cancer.
ReplyDeleteTFS!!
These are such hard cards to make Tammy and you did a beautiful job on it. I am sure she will appreciate your thoughtfulness. hugs
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Tammy. I have that paper stack but haven't used the particular pp you used here. I am wanting to though and now feel inspired to see what I can cook up~
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card. I am sure it will help make her feel better.....
ReplyDeletelove the pinks on this card! I am sure she will feel your prayers when she gets this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the soft colors & the shimmer. I am sure she will appreciate it & the fact you are praying for her. There is a service that sets up cancer patients with free cleaning services, maybe this could help ease her burden a bit - http://www.cleaningforareason.org/. A friend coincidentally recently fowarded me the info.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...I need to make a couple of these for friends with some health issues. Thank you for the inspiration.
