Your Birthday Makes My Heart Happy

I am home after spending a few days at the beach with my family.  What wonderful memories!  And I decided to share with you a birthday card I made last month for my aunt.  She is almost like an older sister to me because she is only 9 years older than me.  She always tells me that I make her heart happy.  So, I used that sentiment for her birthday card.  She called me after receiving it and told me that it was better than any gift I could have given her.  I'm sure that most of you who are card makers love to hear that someone appreciates your cards.  It sure made my day!  Here are the details:

Size:  Approx. 4" x 8 1/2"
Card Stock:  Recollections; American Crafts
Patterned Paper:  Recollections  (I cut the paper so that the images lined up on the different layers)
Heart:  Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art Cricut cartridge cut at 2" using the cupcake feature.  I also embossed it using my Cuttlebug.
If you look closely, you can see the gray medallions that I placed behind the heart, which are Spellbinders dies.
Pearls:  Unknown (They came from Hobby Lobby I think and are on a strand.)
Gems:  Queen & Co.
Rose:  I Am Roses
Sentiment:  "Your Birthday" -- Computer generated and punched using a McGill tag punch
Inside Sentiment:  "Makes My Heart Happy."
Ribbon:  Two layers of black -- one of them being the sheer ribbon

Thanks in advance for taking a moment to say hello and let me know you liked the card!
