50 and Fabulous!

Happy Monday everyone.  Today I am sharing my sister-in-law's birthday card.  It's hard to believe she is 50!  I can remember when she was 17!  I really love doing shaped cards, so I decided a flower pot would be pretty for her birthday.  Here are the details:

Card Shape:  Bloom Cricut Lite Cartridge cut at 6".  I made one regular cut and one using the "flip" feature and scored the back cut at the top (on the handle of the pot) and glued them together to make a card.
Flowers:  They are part of the flower pot, but I chose to cut an extra layer of the flowers/leaves so that I could have three colors.  I cut off the part I didn't want to show.  I added two layers of little punched circles and some gems as well for the centers of the flowers.  Then I outlined everything with a little glitter glue for an added touch.  The flowers and pot were all embossed using my Cuttlebug.
Sentiment:  Computer generated and punched using 1" and 1 1/4" circles, and a 1 1/2" scalloped circle.

I am submitting this to the "May Flowers" challenge over at Cooking With Cricut.

Thanks for taking a look, and of course, thanks for leaving a comment!  Have a blessed, crafty day!
